BLA.id
BLA.id is an information system that allows the molecular and clinical data cross,
making possible the beta-lactamases identification from resistant organisms at intra-hospital level.

|
An implementation of traditional NCBI-Blast but dedicated exclusively to the analysis
of β-lactamases. The BLA.ID-Blast recives a sequence, makes a Blast comparison
against our database, and extracts the classification (or classifications, if doubtful).
Returns the classification of the input sequence and the Blast results with links to
BLA.ID-Explorer.
A web interface to interactively explore the β-lactamases classification and download sequences
(in fasta format) and related information both for-machines (in xml format) and human-readable (in pdf
format).
A keywords search-motor based on indexation of BLA.id.DB (our database):
An interactive set of forms to register β-lactamase's sequences, georefered information
and clinical data. A free-user-registration is required to use the BLA.ID-Registry, with limited
permission until validation. This way we can assure the data integrity.
